Clickbank affiliate sites

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this or the main forum. I'm curious if there are a lot of people that have Clickbank affiliate sites that have stripped the code from them to create their own site to optimize it better with RSS feeds, articles, and other SEO friendly things. I just wonder how most people with successful affiliate sites generate their traffic. I once asked the late Andy Bourland from CB University this same question and he suggested the sites be left as is and not altered. Any thoughts on this? I successfully promote other sites but would like to be more involved in CB sites. Thanks so much for your feedback!

    It deppends how you intend to promote the websites. For example, if you would want to promote them via PPC you can promote directly the affiliate link - but I suggest you to make sure the affiliate page do converts! If you want to rank in search engines or you want to promote it on social sites you should create your page that needs to be SEO optimized. Most of the CB sites are not SEO optimized at all, they are just long type sites that converts.
