I was in a Barnes & Noble the other day looking for a book on something else. I saw they had an SEO section dealing with things like social media and wordpress. Glanced through a few books. Dont buy any of them waste of money with the info online for free.

Trust me, you should learn SEO with online materials. It's much cheaper (most of the materials are free) and it's straight to the point. I've bought some of the SEO books and it's full of crap.

You can check on Amazon or Barns & Nobel and look for the book with the highest ratings and best reviews.

I won't read any book if I were you, I would stay in the forums, ask questions, read topics, etc. You will learn it yourself alone if only you are just like a stubborn!

If you want to learn seo then u can get the material online. You should read the matt cutt's blog as well as the moz blog for your knowledge validation.....

Watch tutorials.I believe seeing is better than reading.

SEO for dummies used to be good for people starting out who want to advance there understanding.

Of course, the problem with books is that SEO is always changing, so they go out of date.

i suggest you dont go with book because its not new material which follow the latest googles algo.
so when you buy book check it when it was written.
