Hi guys, I have followed this thread for a long time and finally I decided to buy John's adsense course... I read all the 94 pages in one go! This is the kind of guide that fits my need, no fluff and straight to the point. The method is actually very simple, and John is right.. there are no secret! The key is to keep working and test everything. What makes this guide different is, its written by person who has been practice for 4 years and has been perfected and successful with his method.. Yes, this is a Masters course! The Master himself is the writer. Actually I have bought a domain that I'm going to dedicate for this method few days ago, and its already online. But after I read the course, I will tweak it a little bit especially the template to follow guideline that written in the course. We'll see the result and thanks to John, this is one of the best investment I've ever made, especially in adsense course |

24 hrs later I just finished reading this thread and am about to dig in. I have zero experience building websites. I dont know how to use wordpress.org. Would it be possible to use wordpress.com to build my site using one of their templates. Can you make pages instead of posts using wordpress.com? Do they allow you to change a domain name to one that you bought? Buying xsitepro for $200 isn't an option at this point. Thank you sooo much xFactor. This thread really opened up my eyes. I'm a complete noob. But I have already downloaded a free trial of MS. Allready found some niches and have a list of keywords for my first site. Also I'm buying the exactkeywords.org How will the s ending effect searches for that exact keyword? My research shows me that both exact keyword and exact keywords get almost identical search volume. I want to try to rank for both. Is that possible? advise? I'm feeling pretty good after spending the last 24 hrs immersed in this stuff. Help me out though. Gotta Sleep for now. |

John Could I ask why you dont put something like Infolinks or Kontera on your websites? I have done this on my sites and it brings in good supplemetry cash without affecting Adsense earnings. |

Since ezine limits how many resources boxes you can have, even with premium membership, it seems like you can only use them to promote a limited number of sites unless I am missing something.....

John, Do you mean the smallest one like in your example template? For some reason my adsense account default is the biggest size. Also, do you use Arial font? I can't quite determine from the yoga mat example either. JB |

It is better to spread your articles about across multiple accounts anyway in my opinion because it makes it harder for anyone who may be looking to steal your niches to track exactly which sites you run (since you won't have articles in that account pointing to EVERY site you own). Having said that, I'm not sure if you're limied to a certain number of resource boxes anyway. Maybe a certain number of "stored" / pre-written boxes, but from what I can see you can type a unique one out for each and every article you write as you submit it? Any case, multiple accounts is the way to go IMO.

I know you can set up font size in the adsense setup in your account but as far as I can tell, Xsitepro just takes your publisher i.d. (not the adsense generated code) and sorts the rest out. Is there a way to change font size for the adsense in Xsitepro 2 ? Thanks.

Sometimes I'll also use TrafficEstimate.com. I put the top site into TE.com and see what it says. But this doesn't usually offer anymore additional info for the most part for a few reasons... 1. If the top site is domain.com/whatever, TE will give the results for the entire site, not the exact page you want. Sometimes this doesn't help you...if the site was Amazon.com then obviously the results will be huge compared to the exact page traffic. 2. The site may be targeting a bunch of keywords hence getting traffic from all of them and not just the one you want to go after. But, if you find a site that is obviously only doing it for AdSense, is one page, and TE spits back a number, well, now you have a general idea of what kind of traffic you can get. It's probably more accurate than the KW tool. Sounds like a lot of extra work, but checking TE can be done in about 30 seconds.

| DireStraits thanks for the tip on multiple accounts. dectomax I took the plunge and got Xsitepro. I'm not familiar with the software yet so I do not know about the adsense problem. I am wondering. Did you make the site from scratch or is there an easier way with one of the templates that come with the software? |

I built the site from scratch. I didn't do any tutorials just dived in 'trial and error' style. I've got my template EXACTLY as described in the book apart from the adsense font size. The rest is pretty striaghtforward. I'm hoping Johns videos will clear up any gray areas I had.

Hey guys, I haven't used XSitePro in quite some time. Can you create a "master" template in it, then use that template for each new site you create?

So if I set up an ad in adsense and set the font to small, it will produce the code that you would normally paste into your site. Each individual advert has an 'adslot' that instructs Google about which font, pallete etc to show. BUT with Xsitepro 2, it ONLY asks for your publisher ID which is the ID for the WHOLE account. The various colors, ad type etc are set in a menu in Xsitepro with font size not being an option. Xsite pro then subs this into the source code for the page BUT although the colrs, fonts etc are set, the font size or adslot isn't. This is as I understand it, Any ideas?

Well if you want to test the font then do not use the xsitepro insertion module insted paste the adsense directly into your templates source code.

I was searching in MNF for a related keyword to use as filler article on my new site and when I checked on Google, one of the top pages was a site with one of the pages using exactly that keyword. I bet it's somebody from here as, although the template is not using the same colors as John said (it's using a Wordpress theme), everything else is exactly as in this free thread, even down to the pictures in the proper location, with the sidebar as John explained, etc. Ok time to move on to another filler keyword, lol, plenty to choose from. But this does reinforce that it's totally easy to get to the top of the first page with this technique, I've just seen it with my own eyes!

John, With the theme setup that you recommend do all your sites get those high CTRs or some will not work no matter what theme you use? I ask because before implementing your new theme on two of my sites I was getting CTR of greater than 20% on the two sites regularly. I implemented your theme exactly has you have shown in the ebook and today I have not seen any kind of improvement. Their CTR are about the same and bit lower than normal for one site. Should we just see what the average will be over like a few weeks or a month before coming to a conclusion? |

everything that I do, you may find a better way. So if your site was getting a good CTR then by all means DON'T CHANGE IT! If it ain't broke, then don't try to fix it Having said that, I commend you for testing. It's the only way to succeed. - John

Hi John Just finished your ebook to the last page. While reading it, I immediately noticed the one thing that separates your ebook from others I've bought in the past is that I can honestly see myself implementing your step by step approach and not just dream about it and put it aside. Your ebook is truely one of its kind to me and highly recommended! Looking forward for the videos Vipul |

Hello Kislany, Appreciate your heads up. I was already caught..........thanks. Hello John, Your post is very helpful. I have bought lot of ebooks related to ideas on making money over the internet but the tips which you spelled out for making money through adsense are are nothing but pure 24 carat golden nuggets. I am using these tips in combination with Adsense themes created by Mark Mason and they just work. Thanks. |

Well this technique certainly works! The last couple of days I've set up a brand new site with brand new domain name based on my main keyword. Yesterday morning it was not indexed in Google at all so followed John's advice on submitting the articles as per his ebook. I also ran the site through socialmarker.com as I've found in the past this a very effective way of getting sites/pages indexed quickly. Well just checked and my site (indexed 9 hours ago) is sitting on page 2 already for my main keyword!! Very pleased with that! I dont expect it to stay there as all new sites/pages seem to get a little "boost" from Google when they are first indexed, but with a little more backlinking I think I can easily get it to move up. I think this immediate success was down to a) choosing the correct keyword based on John's criteria and b) using socialmarker to get the site indexed quickly. Simple! |

I have a question. I'm a little nervous of using certain words in the title tag, meta description tag etc such as........... "....buy product xxxx here...." "...Find The Best Deals...." If we are building simple content sites, is it recommended to use this kind of wording on our sites? My point is - our sites are supposed to be informative and not a gateway to lure people in to click on ads (in the eyes of Google)? What are peoples views on this? I'm nervous about getting sites de-indexed or worse getting an Adsense ban. How far do we go on the wording when it comes to the "sales" part? Or should we just leave the words as "....help and advice on xxxx.....". Thanks. Andy |

Just got my first Adsense click on my site. Not much, only 56 cents but it's a start. I've submitted some articles at Ezinearticles, but they haven't been approved yet, so all I've done is submitted one of the pages to social bookmarking. Site is not even indexed yet. I think I've never been so happy about 56 cents ever before, lol. |

gut instincts. Never follow anyone's path exactly, add your own twist. However... NEVER put those kinds of phrases in your page title (the text above your adsense ads). On the other hand, I do like that wording in my headers and articles, etc. - John

I'll update you as often as I can. But, the one thing I will never do is risk losing my Adsense account by sharing any of my live sites. Putting out my course even made me nervous, as my content publishing business is my main source of income, and in no way, shape or form do I want to take risks with my sites or any screenshots that could get me in trouble with Google. I'll help you as much as possible, and if you want to see an exact replica of my sites, it is in the course. - John

Great question. I was thinking the same thing..... personally, I've found the URL domain name has a big impact on keyword placement. Anyone else find this a useful way to get high on page 1?
