How to find my competitors keywords

Honestly, stealing keywords is illegal. LOL just kidding

Anyhow, go to their website, and then on the browser go to tools, view source, and look at the Meta tags. That should help. OR you can look at this.

If you consider paid tools than SEMRush is the best option for you. It will show your competitors keywords along with their current ranking position.

Guys tool you have mentioned above are 100% worthy and good resulting but I have one trick that you can use to find get competitive titles or long-tail keyword and increase your earning.
Just type your keyword in search engine and seed the related ads on Google, bing. therefore those ads titles are very competitive and really work well for you.

That make a lot of sense because if adds are showing then there is traffic for that keyword phrase.

Yeah, agreed with you. I also used the same technique for getting long tail keywords. You can also use ubbersuggest for getting long tail keywords idea. For searching competitors keyword SEM rush is the best option.

Mix it up. Gather data from the keywords used by your top competitors, and search for top keywords on Google Ads. Make a list and run them at Google keyword tool for more long tail keyword suggestions. Also, Google Keyword Tool/planner is "OK" because its free but if you want more tailored searches, I suggest you go buy a plan at SEMRUSH or SEOmoz

SEMRUSH is best but SEOMOZ have limited access you can find only 300 keywords & why you will waste your money to track other's site keyword.

You know what buddy. we can't steal the actual keyword of website that your target. but you can get an idea by entering the url of the website on google keyword planner and see what google suggest keyword about website

this is a longshot since almost everybody removed it but...

try looking at a competitors' page source code (CTRL+U) and look for META Keywords tag.

Couple of years ago it was a go-to move to get your site ranked well, but over the last 3-4 years it lost all of its value and it's counterproductive

As I said, 90% of webmasters removed it, but maybe you get lucky and you find couple of keywords your competitors are targeting

As most people know; we could put our own or a competitors URL into the old Google Keywprd Tool to discover all the keywords that led to that website; Does anybody know any other software that does the same?

Thanks for those replies. My problem remains because, the importance of the source keyword meta tag has diminished so far that it is hardly used at all by modern webmasters. So, does any body know of a software that we could put our own or a competitors URL into to discover all the keywords that led to that website.
