From Hero to Zero. Need Help

Hello guys,

I am writting this message in my desparation. The story is:

Keywords: fotografas, vestuviu fotografas
SERP Region: google.lt

1,5 year ago I been TOP 1 in google.lt according to these keywords. Then I relaxed for a while and everything dropped from Top 1 to 120positions. Few month ago I started optimization again and reached 15positition. After while it dropped to 25 possition and just stuck here forever. Whatever I do, does not help. I add articles to high PR PA DA having sites, add articles, analyse my competitors but however hard I try, I stay in 25 position. I've been cosulting various Seo specialist in my country but got very different opinions: one of them say my webpage seo needs corrections, some say it's ok. So I'm lost.
Could anyone tell me how to solve this stuck problem.

  • The site is nice, but you need more content. There isn't much here for Google to rank. So many videos, but so little written content. Surely you can write summaries or interesting tidbits that use your keywords—but don't over do it.

  • Okay the link profile is okay, some nice backlinks actually.

    It looks like your on-site SEO, there is literally no text and all images. It looks nice but if you want to rank with them alone, its going take a lot more backlinks so improve your on-page seo instead.

    Also jeez, social network signals ain't gonna help nothing with rankings..nada nothing

    • I don't think that those backlinks are actually any good.

      Most of them are with the exact anchor text and in sidebars next "casino" and "porn" links.

      Quite sh*t to say the least. I think Google has found out that you are buying links.

    Stop "trying" to rank. Google hates that most now more than ever before. Focus on content and social media optimization. Try to get authority figures in your niche comment on your content on social media. Don't make the mistake of "building links" using directories and guest posts. They are a thing of the past now.

  • You should go ahead and add more content, optimize all the images you have and, the most important, build links..

    Try to avoid buying links from shady places..

    If you don't have time to build them on your own, do a quick google search on "Private Blog Network (PBN)" and/or "SAPE" links. If you are looking to boost your rankings these are the 2 most effective ways to do so.

    • WOW guys I really didnt expect to get so many responses and information but to be honest after reading all your answers I am even more lost than before.
      Some people also tell me to get more social into my webpage but also some of you are telling that this is not the key. I am not sure what RIGHT social must be because I have facebook like+share buttons and Pin from Pinterest, what else I could do? I try to post some information to my facebook and this information leads to my webpage but these facebook posts gives me a lot of visitors but just for one or two days and thats it.
      Also could I get any better standing in Google eye for disavowing any bad backlinks with someone mentioned "casino" and "porn" ads? long time ago I didn`t know how to look at good and valuable backlinks and bought some shitty ones and these are still in my webmasters "links to your site". for example long time ago I had backlink from this webpage "xpazintys.lt" which is "porn" oriented.
      So as I understand my external SEO is not so bad because at the moment I am trying to buy good quality backlinks from known websites with high PR/DA/PA.
      But could my internal webpage SEO could be the the main problem which cause this "Freeze" in google SERP for a few weeks? or could this be this one unknown external backlink?
      And finally speaking about photography I imagine that photographers page should be not like news page with a lot of text but all about photography I dont want to add useless text. One of examples, there is one photographer who is always #1 #2 for years but looking at his webpage you hardly find any text in it. So how to explain this?

  • Forget about disavowing link. You need to get high PR link from authority website. You may link to your internal link, not only main page.
    About get more content LOL, they did not see your site and tell as they know already.

    • For the few past month I have bought high and good PR link, and articles as well. This way I reached #25 position. Last week I have bought 2 more high PR and but this does not help anymore as I already mentioned. #25 already for couple months. So there is a problem somewhere else.

  • Your blog has been updated sporadically. Try to post to it at least two or three times a week.
  • Unique content and more social signals should help, but I haven't had much luck trying to recover a site that has been slapped. I usually just give up on sites that get penalized, much easier to start over from scratch imo.

  • You need more content. That will be a step in the right direction.
