Best next move after keyword reasearch

Hello. After a long hiatus I am trying my hand at IM again.

I have been reading a lot about keyword research. I seem to be able to find good keywords (I think) with a little digging.

But what should I do next? Should I buy hosting and a domain right now? Or is there benefit in not having a website just yet? Where should I start investing my time now?

And what kind of keyword should I target for my home page? What I mean is, say my page is 'someproduct dot com' the keywords that describe my over all site in the someproduct niche are all either highly competitive or have low search volume, however I find a lot of related keywords what are not competitive that i could write an article on but do not really describe my site as a whole well, but would be great for a potential page of the site. So do I target the broader more descriptive and competitive keyword with my home page? Or will the homepage just start ranking for random related keywords?

I have a little money to play with as I work full time, but not enough to make to many costly mistakes. I would like to be able to out task as much work as I can afford over time without losing to much quality is this wise at this stage? or are there better things I can do with my money? I am hoping to at least get an income stream generated with free knowledge before I pay to learn.

Sorry for such elementary questions, I am having difficulty knowing which guides to follow as so many are outdated or not worth reading. Or members here will argue that certain 'gurus' are charlatans.

    Hey,

Purchasing a domain right after you keyword research would not be a bad idea. I actually do that for Amazon stores and review sites. However, nowadays Google focuses more on how well your content is written around the keywords you are targeting, and of course on and off page SEO.

Next, a great tip for your keyword research is to go after keywords with high search volume but low competition so that you can easily rank, generate traffic, then invest into some paid traffic methods.

Lastly, in business, you want to always try to minimize costs for your marketing. As long as you are in profit from what you spend, then you are on the right track.

    Hope these tips were helpful!

I suggest buying an old expired domain that contains at least 1 main keyword. To do this simply go to Expired Domains with PR, Backlinks and more completely FREE and search for a related keyword, then pickup 3 to 4 old domains from that website, now go to Majestic SEO : Backlink Checker & Site Explorer and check the link profile of each domain, it must be a clean and authority profile. Finally choose the best one of those domains, buy a hosting and start your website.

That's your next step. If you'd like, I can help you optimizing and choosing best keywords with onpage seo, simply PM me your website address or your chosen keywords.

If someone doesn't know what to do after keyword research, they sure as heck don't need to be building a PBN, unless they're ready to get hosed on buying domains (-$$).

Building PBNs isn't as simple as dropping money on an expired domain. Matter of fact the domain resale business preys on buyers (ex: fake PR with no links to backup the PR).
