Wordpress slugs - is key wording them advisable?

Question about this page which has a single word slug (banking) and asking if any knowledgeable WP aficionados can recommend whether or not improving the slug like this, will improve the SEO aspect for the page? After reading this, I am curious

    I'd use keywords for category names where appropriate. Your improvement idea seems fine to me. Remember to redirect the old address.

    In article slugs I try to put the keyword in the beginning of a slug.

    Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.

    Thank you Nettiapina. Essentially, I am trying to find a way to move my page further up in the search results. See me at bottom of this set of search results for my chosen search term. How would you do it? I thought by tweaking the slug to match that search term?
