Hello!

There are a lot of resources on here about Improving the page rank for your keywords, but not a lot on actually getting google to list your site for a specific keyword.

I was wondering - what is the best way to do this?

My website is hxxp://www.ingeeklove.com and currently it's only ranking for 2 keywords and neither have anything to do with dating.

Any help would be awesome!

    Hey

There actually is a way that you can get Google to list your site for a specific keyword. However it is somewhat complicated.

To do this, you would have to know HTML and how to edit your page source within your website.

I've taken a class on this a while back, but i would recommend that you go to Elance to hire a professional to do this for you, which is the route that i take with my blog posts and websites.

Feel free to PM me if you'd like to know more, but i hope that this sheds some light on your situation.

    -Josh

yes its something there. you must do social bookmarking with different title and different description to all
social bookmarking site but you key word was in title and your relevant key word use in description as well as you make so much backlink for that title you will get rank in google.

If you are looking to rank well in Google, I would recommend that you write quality stuff. The best way you can optimize your site is include your keyword in the title of your page, and inside of the first paragraph as well. The rest of your content should be well written and should lack the keyword throughout it.
Google is constantly doing updates to help improve the way the rank sites because of the way people are gaming it with spam to help improve their ranking. I hope this helps and if you need any help, please let me know.

What ? Page rank for keywords ? I have never heard of such a thing.

And for ranking keywords, you need backlinks. Simple as that. It has nothing to do with content quality. Link to your page that you want to rank with the keyword as anchor.

Be sure to vary the anchor text as too much linking with same anchor can also hurt your ranking efforts. Examples anchor texts
    keyword
    keyword yourbrandname/sitename
    best keywords

and so on and so forth. Also add naked urls (direct url link) to the mix to look natural.

Well, the best and the fastest method to improve your Page Rank is by getting a do follow link from the sites having higher page rank. But now i don't think you can get a website to easily which allows passing of PR. So the good thing to do is just keep on doing your good work and your page rank will increase automatically.
