  • If you mean, would google slap you for duplicate content? Pretty sure the answer is no.
  • No. They are all linking back to the same URL right. If that's the case, you're okay. This isn't what Google considers duplicate content. Excerpts are widely used across the web, and they're useful. I think you're fine.

No, it wouldn't. That's "syndicated content", not "duplicate content". The difference between the two is explained in this post: Article Marketers - Lay the Duplicate Content Myth To Rest Once and For All - Internet Marketing and Publishing Blog

    • A good way to look at it would be like this :

When a post goes viral and is shared 200 million times...google isn't going to punish you for becoming a god. Those 200million shares all have the same little description/photo

      Done!
  • If they all link back to the same URL I don't believe Google will penalize you for that. That is not their definition of "duplicate content".

No. Its like the same stuff appearing in different places for the same purpose. Google will actually love such social media footprints IMO.
  • If the excerpt length fall roughly under 300 characters and link back to the original source they just came under syndicated contents and are not considered to be duplicate.
