Hi,

What to do if your website only available on google when someone search with the whole domain name. e.g. xyz.com.

All rankings for keywords are gone suddenly and only through domain name search, its available. Is it sandbox effect? Because there is no error in webmaster.

Domain is around 7 months old. Anyone can help in it??

    It's probably a poor backlink/SEO strategy.

    You need to do better.

...and this from someone who according to their signature is taking on SEO clients. You should not be taking on clients if you have no idea what you are doing.

      Amen to that!.

OP: There could be several reasons. The important question is were you ranked for any keywords and which positions did they move to if you were. Also are you sure your on-page content is good and not thin.

Hard to know what went wrong without knowing what your site backlink profile is like and what kind of backlinking you have been doing.

You should try to increase your back-links and see if that helps; look for high quality back link of PR 5 and above.

Try to remove some of the bad links if possible, mainly one zero and one PR sites. Then slowly build your links up again this time on relevant authority sites.

As you do not know what the site is, how do you know that this is actually going to help?

If your site is 7 months old it should bounce back. That happened to me a few weeks ago, my site was completely taken off Google, but it just recently bounced back up.

Give it time and try and continue to add content to it.

Honestly, there could be many reasons, like: spam, low quality backlinks, new domain age etc. Here are steps in-case it's spam:

    A- It’s likely spam SEO work/bad links.
    B- Remove bad links.
C- Create high quality Do Follow links
    D- Kindly Wait.

How exactly do you know that the drop in rankings of the site in question has anything to do with bad links?

    Option 1: Wait

Disadvantage: The site may never recover and you may end up waiting for nothing.

Option 2: Start over with a new domain and 301 the old domain to the new one.

Disadvantage: The penalty might pass through the 301 over to the new domain and you may find yourself right back where you started.

The problem seems to be Manual Penalty by google for the website. Check inside your google webmaster tool for the message. If you have built too many links with same anchor texts then the site might have been affected by algorithm update.

Back links should have various anchor texts and most of them as naked url or brand name. Do not use more than 10% of your anchor text as targeted keyword. The more % of your anchor text with keywords the more risk of penalty. Now the quantity of the links does not matter, only the quality and relevancy does matter.

Make sure you don't have any manual penalty.

Then I would look at your on-page seo, your content quality, your back-links and Anchor texts.

My blog got slapped before because the lack of anchor texts and took me 3 months to bring
    it back.

Just be sure the site is truly deindexed.

Do a google search for site:domain.com

If it's gone that means you have been deindexed. At that point register for Webmaster Tools if you haven't already and see what message they provide you. They'll tell you why the deindexed the site.
