I am trying to rank my youtube video for certain keywords. I have got pretty advanced into GSA and scrapebox as well as understanding how to make building backlinks more a lot more legit. My question is though is still analyzing competition. I see where the page that is ranked in the keywords I am looking for has like 68-200 backlinks on the top 10, but the domain backlinks are in the millions. Do I just need to find out how to outrank the page because there is no way in hell I can build 1 million backlinks lol..

Thanks for the help

Those domain backlinks help but are not something that should stop you from going for the keyword.

Its like a YouTube video. It could have tens of millions of domain backlinks but if there's no backlinks to the specific page it wont matter. It wont rank period.

In order to rank you just need to beat the number of links that point to the page not the site.

Remember that links are weighted though so some of those links might count for hundreds to thousands of your spam links.

For the best results you might want to add in some high pr links alongside the spam. Seolutions does a good job if paired with spam.

    Good Luck!

Doing good on site SEO for the youtube video is must, having keywords in the title, description and tags are important. Then, giving some social backlinks, getting some paid views and ratings could help more to get rank in the search engines.

Get some really good content posted on high PR sites plus promote your Youtube video across social media sites. Outranking a site for a certain keyword gets easier these days because the number of backlinks WON'T really matter much now instead it's based more on how much 'weight' these backlinks have in terms of quality. PLUS of you cannot rank for that keyword, there is social media exposure. You can get more clicks by promoting your Youtube on social media sites.

    Page is more important.

Quite often domains you describe will have pages ranking for keywords they're not actively optimizing for and are only ranking because of the strength of the domain.

Assuming they aren't optimized for the keyword they're ranking for, I definitely wouldn't be deterred by the domain strength.
