Ok so I am new to the IM world some what but completely new to SEO. Well I uploaded some youtube videos and did everything I have been reading to optimize it for SEO ( onpage ). Well I also spent about 3 days 8 hours a day going over GSA SER. Well I ended up using scrapebox and GSA and for about 5 days blasted pr 3-8 backlinks to my youtube videos. The competition is low and medium for the keywords and about 2400-6000 searches a month. Well I have been using link processor to try to get the backlinks picked up faster. I have not went crazy but I would say I have submitted about 700 backlinks per video of nothing but pr 2 - 8 sites. Well I see if I do a google search with the link like 3 other sites show up with my video which look to be from GSA but that is it. ahrefs, opensite etc are saying I have no back links at all. I know from what I have been reading about this 30 day google hold on new sites might be the issue. Could anyone tell me if this is normal. I am really just trying to rank these youtube videos on the first page.

Thanks for the info

I don't think GSA links are what they used to be. They are pretty much spam these days I believe.

  • We do backlinks for videos with Senuke and was quite successful. GSA also is fine but you must know how to use it. Good luck!

For building traffic and watching the result in next 10-15 days is like "Rome was not build in a day", Brother you'll have to wait for a month at least to see the effect on the ranking. Your Youtube backlinks are nofollow, and they will remain useless until they generate traffic. Once they generate traffic, Google will count them in high quality backlinks and rank you better.
So, don't stop Keep on doing your off-page practice and soon you'll see the result.

You'll never have success making false claims about your videos.

Are your videos even worthy of the front page...obviously google doesn't think so, and 'blasting' them with links isn't a technique a good business man would use.

That being said, i don't know where someone 'new' picked up such bad habits.

Uhmm first of all the quality of the video is fine. I was just questioning GSA and using it. This is for my churn and burn projects. I was just wondering if the results were normal or not. The links are a mixture of dofollow and nofollow and I believe with the 8 hours a day I spent on reading up on and testing I believe I have the settings correctly. I am also using scrapbox for my verified links etc. To the people with honest answers thank you.. I will be more patient with the results and continue to monitor and automate my link building process.

    Thank you again

I would've never guessed it was for a Churn and BURN!
You've used up many hours in your life for something that will get taken down for shady practices, why don't you want to put your efforts into something you can show your grandkids kids?

Dr los3. Because I do have projects i am working on for long term. Plus a bunch of things automated is not me wasting hours on my life. Any money I get from my churn and burn projects go to my legit. Don't assume because I say churn and burn on one project and testing experience means I am lazy and have nothing I am working towards. I work a full time job, 2 kids , wife. I spend my nights off of work spending 8-9 hours a day and have put myself on a 5 hour sleep schedule so I can still spend time with my kids and wife but also make something happen with this IM business. Plus not to mention I have found ways to get my work done at my job hours early and the rest go right into working on my IM business. So over all I am putting almost 40 hours a week into IM. Don't judge everything I do off of one question I ask

      Hello there GrindingHard,

I have done a few case studies on ranking youtube videos as there seems to be a lack of information or abundance of misinformation and came up with my own results. Read the thread here

      http://www.warriorforum.com/search-e...-revealed.html

I have more results now and i may update or post them in a new thread soon but what i have suggested in that thread holds true specifically the thing about authority.

You can expect your video to pop up into Google (provided your links are getting found by google) in a week, the fastest it did for me was a week and slowest has been 20 days (it is at the top after its been close to a month now) but if its been a month and your video doesn't show in google then there is something wrong with your links or video. In this case, upload a new video to the same channel with a slight difference in wording and length of video and repeat the link-building.

Don't listen to idiots that say GSA is dead or any of that crap, you are on the right path. Not all links are the same, however, so if your links aren't getting indexed or not doing the job then your gsa list sucks. Get a new one.

Also are you sure about your competition ? You will need far more than just backlinks if you are dealing with hard competition and even for medium competition some niches are that tough. The thing that plays a role is channel authority.

Good luck and don't lose hope.

PS: There is no one month hold thing at least for youtube. That is just bullshit spread by idiots.

Dude keep plugging away. I read a great suggestion here Why Some Of Your Sites Aren't Ranking & Probably Never Will Rank (+ What To Do About It) - SEO Traffic Hacks by Terry Kyle that can be applied to your situation. Build several versions of the same "project" and put the same level of "push" into it as the others. Some sites/vids/etc... just don't get liked as much from the Big G. So if ya got several of the same (separated obviously so they look like different projects to Big G) you can watch and see which one is "liked" and go throw all your efforts into that one and then use the "others" ones as links to the "liked" one.

Ping them and let them sit. They will most likely get picked up over time. Also, Google isn't going to index everything. It's alot harder to get crappy 5th tier spun-to-hell content indexed now than it used to be. Just keep focusing on building your first tier links.

As per Google's recent updates, having lot of low quality backlinks don't owe much value as comparison to backlinks less in number but from good websites.

Moreover, don't spam by submitting to huge number of sites but try to submit on sites which are relevant to your niche and have good PR. Moreover, leverage social media for your videos promotion. As social media is the success key for videos n infographics.

I've been using some automated GSA backlinks off Fiverr to rank some sites, so I know for a fact that GSA works. All you need do is build links using a good list and a good indexing service like linklicious. Youtube videos are easier to rank, and that makes it easier for you to achieve your aim.

You have to wait for at least 45 days before your backlinks indexed.
