Webpage established - can I change logo

I have built my son's webpage - self taught and not up to par on all the new ways of doing things.

My son's webpage is Chops Knives - Custom made knives - hunting knives with quality - he is a custom knife maker and when I built his webpage I had a logo made (I remember someone on here made it for me) - he would like a new logo because the knife in the picture is a blank and he only does custom now.

When I built the webpage I read once established do not change anything in the heading as it will set you back in the search engines - is this true.

He is well established and comes up on the 1st page of google search under custom knives and I do not want to damage that.

My question: If I change the logo will it affect the level in the search engine? If not - I want to get a new logo made and I will get someone on here to design it for me. Thanks for your answer.

I think your SERP results will be fine if all you change is the logo.

Changing the logo is fine - seriously.

Also, consider getting a logo done at Fiverr.com. There's a few sellers who I use there with 5,000+ positive feedback. You'll pay $5 for the same thing that a UK company would charge me £100 for.

Just got back from a #BrightonSEO. I was given room 404 in the hotel I stayed at. Couldn’t find it anywhere!

Changing a logo is not going to do anything.

And you don't come up on first page of google for me
