Is the latest PR updates giving you happy mood?

I have two sites,

I have got PR4 from NOPR only with the help of high PR blog commentings for one site even for SERP that is on 2nd page, It is just amazing, Apart from that I had done regular content updates.....I really wonder. Site is just 1 month old. (A blog from Blogger.com)

As well as, for another site, I have got PR4 from PR0 where, I never had done any regular updates, Just had one post there and I have got about 300+ backlinks via PR blog comments and forums signature exchange. I have got PR4, as well as done some social bookmarkings too, Even I have moved on SERP too.... Really wonder for this even and happy too,

How you guys get results from the latest update of PR? Pls share

    same here went from pr0 to pr3. and i am no where near the first page of google for anything so i dont know what there is happy to be about..since pr means crapola. how the fark does google calculate page rank. plus my subpages are also pr3 and i have 0 backlinks to them, the only link being from the homepage.

    My new webpage went from pr0 to pr1 and some innerpages went to pr2. Made like 100 backlinks last week to the site.

    I went from a 2 to a 3. Always happy as long as it is moving up. Hasn't appeared to affect my rankings at all though.
