Content syndication

Hello,
Fellow warriors.

I have thinking of using content syndication for my blog and have find site atcontent.com which provides content syndication for bloggers. Do you think that using content syndication will harm my site ranking in SERP's. Any thoughts, idea or suggestions will highly welcome.

  • Content syndication will provide your site with duplicate articles, something which Google frowns upon.
  • Content syndication is a great tool to spread the word about your content. However there are 2 main things you should know:

    1. Be absolutely sure your content has already been indexed by Google (or any other SE) as your own, meaning from your site/blog.

    2. If the site(s) you are syndicating your content on have more authority than your own site, Google may show that result before your site. i.e. you make a SlideShare for your blog post, SlideShare is highly authoritative, your keyword/phrase may turn up the SlideShare result instead of your blog first.
