SEO Question

Hello, I am working on a project for magic shows. I want to find key words that are easy to rank for and I am sure there are many. For example: birthday party entertainment in pa.

Short of going to the big "G" and typing in stuff, are there any free or low cost keyword tools that will help to get these words or tell if they are being searched for etc?

Thanks,
Mark

  • Not really, but google's keyword tool is more accurate than ever before. And most KW tools simply pull from big G, so there's really no point in looking elsewhere.

  • For Free - your best bet is Google Keyword Planner.

For a price there are many alternatives that do a much better job. Because they do a lot of their own digging around and they have algorithms and such to help you determine what terms are easy to rank for versus hard to rank for.

  • Google Keyword Tool will tell you the number of searches for these keywords, but they won't tell you the seo difficulty of ranking for them. For that, you still need to look manually at the top 10 results, or find a keyword research tool that does that for you.
  • Use keyword planner make sure you set your filters to (closely related keywords) or put [brackets] around your keywords while using that tool. If you know of an authority site then use that website to extract keywords (that is the ninja approach) hen you can filter down from there.

There is one keyword tool I recommend that is free it is called Keyword Optimizer Pro 2 by Dave Guindon and that is one of the best keyword tools I have used.

    Good Luck
  • Almost everyone use Google keyword planne, use it and familiarize yourself with it and you won't need anyone.
