A link-building service is not white hat—at least according to Google. Big G considers any attempt to game the algorithm gray hat at the very least. Buying links is pretty high up there on the "no-no" list.

Take care with link building services, a lot of are de-indexed after a while as google detect it's a linking service (backlinks, poor content,...) .
So my opinion is that, it's not good for long term.

For a long term it's better to make your own as you control everything. Price could be much more higher, but you could also have a real trafic on it.

Whitehat link building services employ many strategies to get your site ranked high in Google. They might use guest posts, infographics, and outreach link building.

A private blog network link building service is not whitehat, but it's reasonably safe and very effective, so if your site is one you don't mind losing to the next Google update, I would suggest that you buy PBN blog posts instead of whitehat link building services.

By the way, those whitehat links are not easy to obtain, and that's why whitehat link building services are expensive.

White Hat SEO - White hat seo is basically any thing you do in terms of SEO which is not under webmaster guidelines.

You can do any link building which you think is not looking scam, spam or UN-natural.

Nobody around here is doing that, these link sellers are mostly link blasters spamming anything & everything that will accept a link. Most are even short term link blast where you'll be lucky If the link sticks long enough to verify the link exist.

Then you have the edu/gov spammers with their lame sales pitch.

Next you have the PBN guys, zero relevancy just like the link blasters.

Basically build your own links or stop looking for link sellers & look for someone to do public relations.

Each business strategy is different.

1. I would sketch from zero all the work starting with the keywords analysis. For the long tails - you can simply focus on the area where you live too "Manchester Red Bathrooms towels" - example...
2. Move to content/contexts/headlines.
3. If It's a local business that's better - go with the Google map listing which is very important. If not I skip that. and go just with Google Authorship in both cases.
4. Follow the CTA (Call-to-Action) - Link Structure (Build linking relationship between on site pages to improve linkability ) - Site architecture - Action Ratio. All need to have a very good connection.
5. Optimize each web page using Yoast Pro or other SEO framework
6. Tracking the performance of conversions on the site
7. Make recommendations for off page optimization. Contact Local - Regional - National Bloggers where we can't influence anchor texts, widgets or BIOs.
8. Start the Social Pages. Go and start campaigns by demographic areas and if possible after niche.
9. Try to gain some influencers on our G+ page so we can have a good share integration.
10. Community services. Integrate on top forums and actually bring value to the boards. Forget about the backlinks benefit. Actually give really good results, really good value to what we post,answer there to gain trust, awareness.
11. Digg for natural links. This keeps the engines active no matter what.
12. No follow attribute for all the backlinks build out there.
13. Classic SEO momentum - Turn the CTA(Call-to-Action) to a valid Click!
14. Distribute content. Rich content, with more than 500 words!
15. Interact with social activity - go to charity, spread flyere, become known local - and get listed on Chamber of Commerce website!
16. For products which have almost same but only difference is the colour and size - use canonical tag!
17. If the On Page is done right you can have results faster than 2 months.
18. Build the social page platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pintinterest and merge them with your On page. Each time you share something to appear on your social pages as well. Focus on your demographic area first if you will start with some PPC advertise on Facebook and AdWords.
19. Create your landing pages focusing on what a client might want or search! Don't create the content just because you think is good! Sometimes we go on the wrong direction because of that. We are too selfish.
20. If you want to know what your searchers look go on Google Trends and test out the keywords you want to optimize.
21. Don't start optimizing until you have content ready. And YES - Have a blog on your website where to share content regular!
22. For the Pinterest start with a button on the website, include the profile widget and start to share a LOT. Pin A lot of images. Comment on Popular Pins..etc.

All depends on the QUALITY of the service you're. Super high quality networks, networks that take the time to make their blogs safe, are more expensive. Go look at BlackhatWorld, you'll find the entire gamut of low to high quality link building services, and you get what you pay for.

Those high pr foreign links are working wonders. Not many people sell them anymore but there great for low comp along with some spam

I've had both good and mediocre experience with sellers on this forum. The key thing for me is an acceptable degree of safety of approach. So I don't touch any of the providers who aren't prepared to state exactly the nature of the work they are doing.

It helps to understand a bit about SEO so that you can make a good choice.

Links are the primary signal to Google to help it determine where to rank the websites in its SERPS. And whilst link building has developed a bit of a unsavoury reputation in more recent times, it’s still very much still the case that those with quality, relevant links to their websites are the ones who will achieve the best positions on the search engine.

Buying links is not a good SEO technique. Moreover it is considered as Black Hat by Google. Its always good to link naturally, that does not look suspicious to Google.Most important thing is to link to relevant and high authority web sites. It might take some time but its worth the effort and wait.
Google will not encourage any website whose backlink numbers have shot up in a fortnight. Then you will definitely be on guard.

Private blog networks are still very effective when done correctly with original content. There are a ton of guides out there on how build your own if you don't feel comfortable buying them, plus you have complete control over your link profile.

Google frowns upon any kind of link building for serp gains, but that doesn't mean it's not effective. Sure other factors play a role, such as onsite factors, content, user metrics and so on, but links play a very prominent role and will likely continue to do so.

I have found that a good rule of thumb is to examine your competition and find common denominator links - links that two or more of your competitors have, and then try to obtain them. There's a good chance if 2 or more competitors have a link, you can get it too AND it's unlikely you'll be penalized for it since they are ranking. There are exceptions of course (spammy links, foreign links) but for the most part this is a sound strategy in my experience.

Nope. White hat is not cheap and it isn't just about link-building, its about building a brand and making the links come naturally. It also takes the most amount of effort so of course they are expensive.

If you are looking for these white hats, just go to moz's recommended seo services section and choose one. All of them charge in excess of 1000$-5000$/month. They won't even bother replying if you reek of cheap or talk budget.
