Got some others little items sold via amazon affiliate with my blogs! (about 10$ for now lol)
The key to get good rank , from what I can see, is to use right keywords with low competition and good CPC, think as a user who search on google and get right keywords giving people articles to solve their problems.. good luck all!

When your ranking, the competition doesn't mean anything, it's how many hits that keyword gets. The more hits it gets, means the harder it will be to rank, but that's not set in stone. I use MOZ.com to check to see what kind of difficulty it is to rank for a keyword.

I also use a technique something like that.
Find some niche keyword with low competition for my affiliate marketing blog and I just write some SEO optimize Content and publish on my blog. I also create some backlinks from similar niche and authority sites.
After some days, I find my blog in first page of Google Search with 3rd position.
From those post, I got huge sales and earned enough money for those Keywords.

Keywords are still a factor in how Google ranks websites, however, you shouldn’t expect to optimize your website with keywords and then see your site rise to the top of the search results for those keywords. You still need to, at a minimum, create content based around your keywords that deserves to be top of Google and to build links to your site to boost it’s trust and authority.

Yeah dude congrats!

However, do those keywords get any traffic? And if so, are they buyer keywords?

Since your blog has amazon affiliate links, then they best articles are those that are reviews of the product. Have a good review of product, pros and cons, that is interesting with youtube vids too, and then have your amazon link at the bottom.

Also make sure you have tracking to see what is happening once a visitor lands on your site. Google analytics is good for this.
