banner: iframe vs. javascript

I would like to place affiliate banner in my blog. Affiliate provides banner in either iframe or javascript. Which one is better from SEO perspective?

  • I don't know that either would provide any real SEO benefit. It used to be that the search engines could not crawl iframes and javascripts. I did find this article that indicates there might be some benefit to iframes now, however.
