Managing profiles & emails for backlinking...

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about getting started with backlinking. This subject may be covered by Angela or Paul when you subscribe (I haven't yet, obviously), but I'd like to know up front.

Let me say that I already use LastPass to manage user IDs and passwords. That's not what this question is about.

So the issue is; do you set up a new email for each niche you create a profile for? Is this email based on your own website?

For example, say your niche is coffee pots and your site is mycoffeepots.kom. Do you set up an email of BillyBob-at-mycoffeepots.kom and use that email for all of the profiles you create where you're linking to coffee pot related content?

If you have several niches, do you do this same process for each niche?

Do you then forward each of those email addresses to a gmail account or something, so everything goes to one place?

Or, do you set up some single, generic email address like BillyBob512-at-gmail.kom and just use that same one for everything?

Also, do you invent a new first and last name for each niche profile you create? I'd rather not be making up multiple names for myself.

I'm just trying to wrap my brain around managing this process, looking ahead in case I end up in 10-20 different niches or something.

Thanks,
Jason

Mostly, I use free email service for this, As well as my email will have a real human name or something like that...

Yes, I do it on differnt times, There will be huge time gap, To make sure that we are NOT using their site for SEO purpose...

Yes, I used to have records of those emails and check them once a week and update my profiles there....

I myself use free email systems like yahoo, gmail, hotmail etc. and you can easily create different accounts for each niche and save each email id in an excel file to keep track of everything.
You can do this work yourself giving it some time daily or even hire people on forums as people are already offering such services and you can even find one
    Thanks

Thanks for the replies. At this point, I've got more time than money to spend on this, so I won't be outsourcing just yet but will keep that in mind.

First of all you are welcome and i prefer that you do it yourself for the first time so that you even get an idea about these linking processes.
If you have got enough time then just go for it yourself and don't outsource it as doing the work yourself will satisfy you more and you can even track each and everything you did
        Thanks
