I have today commented on some related niche blogs. But later I noticed that "no follow" attribute are automatically added to the back-links to my site.

My question is : Is it any worth to spend time on such commenting?. Does it help anyway? Will it have any negative effect on my blog?

Don't over do it. If your blog is new then do it for like 50-60 times at most over a span of a month or more.

No negatgive impact if done in little amount over a long period of time. I would suggest you to gues post and boost your authority

Strongly Recommended - Build good content to get natural back-links - This words the best for me.

I think commenting on nofollow blog are wasting your time.
Because nofollow link didn't give you benefit.
Try to comment on other do follow blog with the same niche

The blogs should be of high pr. It won't matter that you are creating a nofollow backlink, quality and its pr do matter. So if a blog has quality content and high page rank then you can create backlink whether it is nofollow or dofollow.

Yes! Its still profitable with nofollow attribute. But don't do it overly as it is look like spamming.

No its does'nt harmful for your website. Its maybe increase your traffic. People who comment on same post. See your link. That's why comment on both blogs. Which give you do and no-follow link.
