If you change site destination does it affect SEO
- SEO |
Previously I had an index.html site on my host and it linked to my domain, so there was no redirection. The site was basic, designed by code.
I then designed a better more professional site, but it has to be hosted on third party server.
I then created a index.php that redirects to that HTML5 site on wix.
Will this affect my page rank, seo etc...?
Because will spiders/robots only crawl site content for files hosted on your own server or will they follow redirects.
Just need to know, if it does then i would have to stick to the same index.html on my own host and stick with it.
