How to track competitor website rankings?

Hi all.

I am looking for a tool that I can use to provide me statistics on where my competitor's websites rank for specific keyword phrases. Ideally I could input a dozen keyword phrases and 7-8 websites and see metrics on where they rank over a period of time. If there are great free tools to do this, then perfect. But I am willing to pay for the right tool as well via an WSO or a monthly subscription service.

    • Another alternative is semrush.com. It's far more robust and with it you can see all the keywords your competitors are ranking for, how much organic and paid traffic their sites are receiving, and which pages of their sites are ranking for those keywords.
