How can I buy high PR domains for a reasonable price?

Hi all. I am using registercompass.org, freshdrop.com, and expireddomains.net and every time I find something decent there, I then go to GoDaddy.com and the prices on the domains are outrageous.

In general, a valid PR 4 domain, with 30 DA, a 1 to 1 TF/CF ratio, and a good backlink profile will usually have a winning bid of $500 to $700 for such a domain on GoDaddy

I'm sure there must be better ways to find high PR domains for a better price. What other options are there to finding high PR domains?

  • Just like some real estate prices are insane, such as a two bedroom cottage in Palo Alto costing well over a million dollars, some virtual real estate are experiencing the same thing due to the high demand for them.

There are a few domain brokers that will have PR 4 domains for less than $150. Is that a reasonable price to you?

Better options exist if you are willing to forgo the PR criteria and focus in on the back link profile instead. Talking about domains that have expired years ago which don't have any PR but still have valuable links still pointing to them.

    • Which domain brokers? If you could kindly let me know which domain brokers sell for that price and have legit PR 4 domain with a good backlink profile, 25+ DA, and 1/1 TF/CF, that would be appreciated (if you don't want to publicly list the domain broker in this thread, you can PM me their site name).
  • Its completely over-priced.

I've tried to bid on a few domains on Godaddy and it went up like crazy to unreasonable prices...
Remember - not all PR3 have ranking power! Sometime the anchor text is all spammed.... (100% the same anchor text)
Dont pay those prices! They are completely a fraud

"PR 4 domains for less than $150. Is that a reasonable price to you?"
Whats the other metrics? DA? PA? Trust Flow? Backlink Profile?

I rather go to expireddomains.net and find aged domains with a good link profile.
  • You have to remember that not everyone is buying a domain based on its PR or backlink profile. Sometimes the domain or just the name itself has some commercial value to them that you will never know about. Therefore, they are willing to pay a lot more money for the domain than you would.

That sometimes accounts for higher prices for some domains, whether it be at GoDaddy or any other auction site.

  • Since blog networks went mainstream, the demand for high PR expiring domains skyrocketed, and the price followed suit. To get expiring domains at a cheaper price, bid on domains with less authority, such as PR 2 and DA 20 domains.

    • I have bought from TBSolutions and PRNator before. The prices are better than GoDaddy but still quite expensive. For instance, a PR 3 with 25+ DA and 1/1 TF/CF costs about $200.

There must be a cheaper way than that.
  • You should check Blackhatworld.com and forums.digitalpoint.com for high PR domains. Unlike Warrior Forum, these forums have a section for domains and people often sell their PR domains for about ~ $100

    Ofcourse prices may vary.

Those are the last places on the net I would buy anything.
    • I'm not saying anything bad about the site but if you use blackhatworld please don't use any password of value. Someone on underground hacking forums dumps their database every 6ish months for money.
  • Why not take a look at DomainPeel.com. Spam FREE expired domains with high metrics.
  • Make sure that you check any domain that you are thinking of buying on these sites with majesticoseo.com and check the trust value before buying.

    • Sorry OP. You are day dreaming. You are not going to get a great PR4 for your price legally. You may get a PR4 yes but it won't have the same backlink profile.

think about it. Why should a legit broker sell you a solid PR4 for around a hundred dollars when he can get twice and three times the price?

Now give up the PR fascination and you just might fine something good. Most of the market is still playing the PR game so those are bid through the roof. Shucks PR4s with ZERO links are being snatched up to sell to the gullible.

  • You can find many cheap page rank domain names on forum marketplaces such as namepros, dnforum, DP, etc.
  • Back in the day you could occasionally find a domain or two at digital point, but those days are gone. It's now a haven for people selling fake PR domains.
  • I wouldn't pay for A high PR ranked site when you can Make them high PR yourself

    • You're still paying. You are just paying in time instead of money.
