Hello guys.
Recently, I created some small niche website for seo techniques testing purpose. And I was trying to figure out the best way to build links in order to rank low/mid competition keyword. Here is what I reached so far :
1- manually build 50 web2.0 profile with link in profile page + few shares for home/inners
2- build 2nd tier ultimate daemon consists of social bookmarks, wikis and blog comments
do you think this would be an effective way to build links after recent google updates ? please share your ideas and strategies. Thanks

You could pay someone to write unique content that links to your articles. The spiders ignore copy-pasted spam content when indexing links; you get better rank out of fresh content. Think of it this way: if your stuff isn't worth talking about, it isn't worth reading.

For a website starting out, my main strategy would be to find all the places that would publish content on high ranking websites. But these aren't going to be content milled out, they're going to be well thought out, helpful articles that make my client or website an expert in the field. Fewer articles, better quality.

Those articles will go out on social media, out to influencers and the like.

Also answering questions on forums, but not always providing a link. Providing a link only when it's genuinely helpful to someone in that forum. If you have a question you can answer, create the content that answers that question and then post it in the forum.

Blog comments are going to backfire on you if that's a massive strategy. They're spammy as anything. Branch out techniques. No one technique is going to get you results, but a breadth of techniques will.

    That's my two cents.

Tiered link building is a link building technique that remains effective to this day. To make it even more effective, use unique articles on the first tier and replace any of the first tier pages that get deleted.

Today, there is no such thing as genuine link building but there is what they called relationship/reputation building that takes a lot of time and effort but good for long term purposes. SEO is a constant change and in order to be successful with it you must learn to adapt to changes.

Link building will be good when the content is fresh. So you can concentrate on that.

The SEO will change periodically so update yourself accordingly.

Lol talking about genuine link building and then you start about web2.0 profiles with a bunch of spam in tier two.

        Oh yeah you'll get there.
