Link Indexed But Not Showing In Google Webmaster Tools. What's wrong?

Hi,

I did build some profile links from popular sites and even google plus website. These links are all indexed as I have checked them. They are also showing up on ahref. However it has been long and does not show up on my webmaster tools. What could be going wrong? Any Idea?

    GWMT does not show all the backlinks to a site that Google knows about. It usually caps them at 10,000 but it varies based on the size of the backlink profile. Check opensiteexplorer and ahrefs (they have free versions) and see if you see the links there. However it is odd that none of the links are showing up. Try using the cache: command for the pages that have the links to see if they have been crawled yet with the links on it.

      Not ony does google not show all links in WMT, but they hardly are expected
      to count every link, just because the pages is indexed that they are on.

      Add to the fact that profile links may never count, and google plus would
      never count anyway.

    1) WMT takes months sometimes to update their public data.
    2) Profile links are about the lowest quality links you can build. I would not worry about it too much.

        Thank You All For The Reply . I can understand that, a profile link does not carry much value, but dofollow links from sites like wordpress and google plus wont pass any domain authority towards my link?

          Domains do not pass authority. Pages do. Your links are on pages with no authority.

    It takes time to show up on webmaster tool. You can check that its already indexed. so, don't worry about it.
