Google vs Scrapebox

In looking for possible sites to request a backlink to one of my sites, I searched Google using 2 and 3 keywords in quotation marks, ex: "chosen keyword". On some of the web pages listed in the search results, I used the "find" command for the chosen keyword and it was not found on the web page and the web page was of no use to me.

Question: If I buy and use Scrapebox and use the keyword "chosen keyword", will it simply return the url's from the Google results or will it actually return only web pages that have the specific chosen keyword somewhere on the web page?

    • Do I understand correctly, since Scrapebox uses Google's results, even though I search for exact keywords, when Google returns pages without the exact keywords, Scrapebox will also return pages (url's) without the exact keywords?

    It appears that Scrapebox merely scrapes the url's from the search results. Not what I was looking for.

    Is there any way to make a search engine find exact matches? For example, if I need to find web pages that have Atlanta, Georgia, not Atlanta, GA, but exactly Atlanta, Georgia, is there any way to make Google find Atlanta, Georgia instead of Atlanta, GA?

    I have tried both quotes " " and brackets [ ], but neither works for exact match.

    • Depends on where you want the phrase to be found. You can also use intitle or inurl. Make sure you watch Loopline's videos on YT for better understanding of SB.
  • There's a "incontent:" search operator, but I have never played with it. Not sure if it will include parts of a page like the sidebar or footer or if it is just the main content of the page.
