This question is between SEO and email marketing. Sorry if created topic on wrong place

I read that it is not good to name URL direct squeeze
e.g. www.mydomain.com/squeeze
because Google keep these pages as a spam with no value

Please give me some ideas how to name it.

I doubt if a squeeze page is going to rank no matter what you call it. It has very little content and no real value to the search engine community except to catch attention or pre-sell something and send people on to another page.

It doesn't matter that it's a squeeze page, it's still a webpage & can rank even with very little text.

How do you know it's no value? What If it was a Habit for Humanity video page, is there any value there? Plain text doesn't define value for traffic & Google isn't basing it's algo. on the amount of text a page has or doesn't have.

In 2011, on two occasions (Google "Panda" and "Farmer" in February and June), the major search engines adjusted their algorithms to more accurately rank and sometimes exclude squeeze pages that are considered to be "spam" due to their lack of content. In addition, some marketers have seen their pay-per-click campaigns being penalized by restrictions that prevent "affiliates" from purchasing pay-per-click advertising to build opt-in lists for future sales. In response, marketers have begun to increase the amount of content included on Squeeze pages to ensure that their page maintains its search result rankings.
Content on a squeeze page can be increased by adding a blog at the bottom of the page. Another squeeze page design that is growing in popularity is a combination of a linear sales page and a squeeze page. This design keeps the squeeze page basics such as opt-in form, bullet points, and video at the top of the page. At the bottom of the page the user would find more content and product information.

First, that's a public edited wiki page, I could login & change that text to say a panda taste like bacon.

Counting words doesn't rank pages. Quality links & optimized text is what ranks pages.

I think it's silly to attempt to rank your squeeze pages... they simply don't have enough content.

Look at it from the search engine's point of view - they are trying to send their customers to the most relevant webpage - a squeeze page will NEVER be the most relevant result.

SEO your blog ... if you wish... but squeeze pages ... forget it.

My opinion is worth what you paid for it:

Such a page is JUST for people. The right way to work with this is to have a BLOG/WEBSITE and to promote it. Squeeze page is not very good even with Email Marketing, because a person already clicks one link, then with only one picture you try catching his attention, while he is ALREADY interested in your offer (WHY? → Because he CLICKED on the link in the email!!!)

If the page is ranked in the SERPs who cares about a blog, traffic has already landed on the page, 50% of the work is done, the conversion is up to the sales copy.

Did you read a blog the last time you shopped on ebay, Amazon, etc...(I didn't)?
