I'm looking into taking an advanced SEO course. Does anyone have any recommendations of courses they liked? Such as courses on Udemy or independent websites?

  • You can go in lynda.com. They provide numerous online courses in video formate. There course videos are easily understandable and are very informative.
  • You might want to take a look at Mike Anthony's program. BEST SEO ALIVE

    He's reasonably priced and has an outstanding reputation.
  • OMG Project X is good course, but it is a bit overwhelming coz there are so many videos to choose to learn.

    Another option is Rankings Institute or ROI optimization, they are good also.

    Remember to always test test test by yourself. SEO is fun game and not everyone using the exact same technique.
  • I suggest you to go to youtube because there are many webmaster teach you seo through visual way. This is very easy for you and as we all know that visuals are always effective than the theory. Another good resource is lynda.com as one of our friend suggest that in thread. However, I am not seen any video from lynda.com.

    The Advanced Guide to Link Building

    This is more than enough to learn SEO.

    • SEO is so much more than just link building. Granted link building is a massive factor and there is a lot to learn but it is not the only thing.

      There is really no need to pay for anything, simply look for tutorials on on-page optimisation, site structure and content tips. Then as the other guy said check out Neil's guide to link building and you will be good to get started with.

      Remember SEO strategies and guidelines are always changing so it is not a one size fits all solution, so when you are learning you also need to keep up with the latest strategies.
