I have a client that claims they are signed up for SEO with AT&T... they apparently got some free ad with them for signing up. Anyone familiar with this offering?

True SEO or just some type of directory listing?

I think this is just their yellow page listings. I don't think the traffic is all that great.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

The owner is dead-set that it's SEO... I gave him a quote for optimizing some keywords and doing some serious keyword analysis... claims ATT is optimizing for keywords as well. I'm sure my pricing is a lot higher than whatever they are doing.

He could be correct, here's a link to a press release:

      AT&T- News Room

What's unclear is exactly what kind of service they supply. I one statement: "AT&T Web Hosting Services include an intuitive user interface that supports easy Web site design, search engine submission, search engine ranking optimization, banner ad creation, e-mail management and Web site traffic and user behavior reports."

They indicate that there user interface supports easy SEO but it's not clear to me that they do the actual service for you. Furthermore, what does their service entail?
