Forum Profile Website Link

I think some of us know that there are still some high PR 6-9 forums that are dofollow.
If you put backlinks on your signature you are most probaby getting ban after a while.

However, some forum lets you put your Website link.
Checking it with Moz Toolbar, I can see that the website link in my forum profile is a dofollow link.

Do this contribute any juice?

  • I agree some of the forums do this but if you will reply according to the post then you will not get banned.

  • It really doesn't matter what the homepage PR is. Your link is on a PR 0 or PR n/a page.

  • Nowadays , Forum link is not good for seo. You should try for article posting. It only helps you to increase traffic. But don't spam on forums. Spamming = banning
  • It is true that some forums may ban you for using signature link. But, if you can establish your account on those forums, it reduce the chance of getting ban. So, don't try to submit spammy link.
  • They are not really links that are worth pursuing for SEO purposes, in all honesty.
  • Signature links may be good to get you direct, targeted traffic but if you are doing it for SEO purpose, your time may be better spent in some other link building activity.

    • The best thing that you can better do for the promotion work is the article submission,so try to do it.
  • You should use forums to contribute, learn, build reputation, etc. Back links are not the main propose of forums, never been.
