For some reason, some of my websites are not listed on Google anymore.

One of the websites was just a fun website where I had a bunch of pictures I took at a local event. A few weeks after I posted the webpages, a few of my images were listed among the first ten images when you searched for that particular event. I put a picture of my friend on one of those pages. When you googled his name, that picture came up first. Now I get nothing of mine when I do an image search. The webpages themselves which used to be ranked around 50th, don't come up at all.

Another lost page was a main domain page. I had a bunch of wordpress blogs on subdomains. The main page was just a space filler with a photo of something unrelated to any of the subdomains. When you did a google image search for that item, it came up second or third. And I wasn't even doing any SEO for that page. Now the image doesn't come up at all when you search.

These pages had adsense ads on them but they weren't selling anything. I wasn't backlinking to them and wasn't doing anything, blackhat or otherwise, to try to get them ranked. Suddenly they aren't on google at all anymore. Is this just some weird Google dance? Or are they out to get me.

Google loves to dance with everyone's results...even the ones with lots of backlinks! They're not out to get you!

Not listed where you want them or not listed at all?

If not done so already try searching with:

    site:yourdomain.com

That way you'll know if your sites are in the index still.

if they are then maybe they're sandboxed and not appearing in the search results.

Sometimes this happens to me, I panic a little then wind up with a better ranking more often than not. Best thing to do is not change your pages

I actually had the same thing happen about 2 - 3 weeks ago.

I was #4 for my stongest keyword term. I woke up the next am and wasn't in the top 15 pages. Does this mean im sandboxed?

I still get traffic from other keywords so I can't have been black listed...

Only time will tell - as Brad says above you might find ur site coming back to the top again soon.

Just ignore it. I have two blogs right now in that current state. I will keep posting and moving forward.

Yep, same things here. Darn Google Dance...give it a day or two and see if things change.

I had my #1 keyword go poof the other day...total panic! And then I remembered the little dance that happens.

It's pretty common for google to dance the sites around as and when it wishes. Do not panic though or change anything. You say you weren't linking them anywhere or adsense ads were not making you anythig, so no need to worry. Just sit and watch, or keep working on your other important sites.
