Hi Warriors,

Looking for some best practice general advice or strategy on how to rank a CRM software site. The goal is to generate organic traffic to the site to encourage free trial sign ups. This is my plan after the on page SEO is complete

1)web 2.0 sites creating original content once per month with anchor text back links.
2)Promo youtube video(s)
3)Press releases (what are the best sites for this???)
4) Guest blogging posts
5) 10 or so article directories with 1 original article added to each site monthly. (what are the best directories to focus on???)
6) Blog commenting on business related subjects.
7) Social media sharing of the various articles videos etc using Hootsuite as the dashboard to organize it.

Questions:

-Does this sound like a decent strategy?

-How should I be interlinking the above?

-What should I be doing differently or adding to this?

-What are the directories eg, blog sites, article directories, press release sites that I should focus on?

-How can I obtain back links from high PR sites?

Thanks to all those Warriors who choose to share their thoughts with me on this it's very much appreciated.

Be carefull with linking to much from one web 2.0 to your moneysite, it may looks suspicious. I build a web 2.0 blogs in daily basis, make 2-3 posts/blog without any backlinks ,then several posts/blog with backlinks to some authority sites and make 2-3 posts/blog with backlinks to my moneysite, but I am linking from same article to 1-2 more authority sites to avoid any doubts of Google (:. One blog

Build your back links slowly at the beginning and start with low competition keywords. You should focus on getting quality back links and not back links from high page rank sites only. Page Rank is one factor of many others.
