I have used SerpFox.com for the last couple years. You get 10 keywords for free and it automatically tracks and keeps your serps report updated.

If you need more than 10 keywords tracked they have memberships I think that start at $10 per month. I hope this helps.

RankWatch and SerpFox are the only two I would recommend.

SerpBook is okay too. It's accurate at least. I just did not like their interface or reporting.

You should check out Moz.com Keyword Difficulty and SERP analysis tool. It's what I use for basis and full SERP reports.

There are many serp checker tools are available other than the two that you have mentioned. such as serplab, seoserp, sitemapdoc, ezeeranktracker etc. You can try checking them too.

Serpwoo gives you FAR much info than just your SERPs.

You can easily track your competition and new sites that are gaining on you. It's a newer product but one of the best and it has a free trial.

  • I recommend SerpFox. If you want a free serp checker then i would suggest CuteRank.

Another vote for SerpBook. Or if you have scrapebox tool, you can buy the ranking checking addon (around $10).

Another vote for Serpfox, been using them for a while now, no major problems yet. They don't update as often as I would prefer but still a great tool.

A free one would be micrositemasters.com (up to 10 keywords), then you will need to pay if you need to track more keywords. The shortfall is that it does not provide a history of your rankings for the keywords you are tracking.

Another one-time payment software is Ranktracker. It'll eat into your budget when buying it, but there's no subscription fee thereafter. Ranktracker can run on your PC or a VPS and can be set to check on rankings automatically on a daily basis. I loved it for the ability to create a ranking line graph that shows you how your ranking changes over time. It actually goes out to the SERPs to get your rankings. So you know the real rankings of your webpage for a particular keyword. However, you will need some proxies if you are checking more than 10 keywords, to prevent your IP from getting banned by the search engines.

many ones are avilable as you can see and we try many of them but finally we decided to find it manually because sometimes such tools are not able to provide accurate results.

I Use serprank firefox plugin, its free and all you have to do is insert your url, put in your keywords and it will return the data of where your site is sitting in google.com google.uk , yahoo, bing and also allows you to import and export keyword lists so you do not have to keep manualy typing the words in each time, nice little plugin that sits in the toolbar

wouldnt run it all the time tho seems to be hard on cpu

    once a day is enough

    cheers
