majestic vs ahrefs

which one is better majestic or ahrefs. ???
i'm little bit confused because ahrefs is showing that i got 12 backlinks, but majestic only shows 1 backlink. can you explain what is happening ?

  • It seems to me that the spider of ahrefs is better as it shows more data (backlinks) as majestic. However ahrefs is also more expensive if I remember correctly

    • Yes, AHrefs is about $80 a month and Majestic is about $50 a month...
  • as i know ahrefs also updates database more frequently!
  • I use them both, and I have relied on Majestic for a long time, and now have added Ahrefs to my toolbox and I like the additional information it gives me. It does come at a cost though.
  • i never used majestic so don't know about this but i am using ahrefs regular, its good site to analsis backlinks.

  • Ahrefs is the better one. Why? I even used them for my YouTube backlink checking purpose. There are no other tools I have found this and other purpose all together.

    • In some of the sites that I refered I could find the ahrefs has got more ranking than the majestic, since ahrefs provided more accurate information and useful insights about each link. And the ranking for majestic also was not bad and it was mainly based on for providing information that might be confusing to some SEOs and Webmasters.

  • Ahrefs is the best choice. Always think outside of the box.
    Take a look on my service (100% positive review). Maybe it will help:

  • Ahrefs is the most accurate (not that any of them is 100% dependably accurate, but Ahrefs beats the rest in terms of accuracy which is all that matters).
  • ahrefs is better than majestic, but if you have want check backlinks of your site, then go with the Google webmaster, its shows you better result.

  • Both are good tool, I used majesticseo extensively they also show backlink that are not clickable i.ejust mentioning of a website is treated as link count. that fine for me.
  • I personally use OSE, Majestic and Ahrefs as all will show different data. Ahrefs bot (at the time of this post) seems to find more then Majestic and OSE. However I think Majestic and OSE have more useful metrics for gauging the quality of a page.

    Meaning that you can take the found links in Ahrefs and manually submit them to Majestic for crawling for a more accurate picture.
