You can learn alot from SEO bloggers who share their experiences, projects and methods with their readers. Also from forums like the Black Hat Forum, and of course the Warrior Forum.

Forums are good places to learn more about SEO and improve your skills, join the active SEO forums and read for a while. you will obtain a good knowledge and improve your skills, you can also develop sites for testing some proposes.

Try to update on daily basis on top forum websites like warriorforum, digitalpoint forums, v7n forums, etc. Also read top SEO blogs like moz, search engine land, etc. It is always a good idea to comment on the post which you have read.

Read a lot of blogs and run your own tests. That's the only way to really learn what works for you. The forum has too much noise and a lot of good/bad/random advice which will just leave you stumped.
