Hello. How can I see where my website visitors are coming from? In other words, what website they were on right before they visited my website. Is this possible?

You will have to install Google analytic to check where are from visitors coming to your site.Apart from this you will also get more information related to seo.

HI
- Log in to Google analytics with a g mail id
- Add your website in it
- You will be provided with a tracking code.
- Copy and paste the code in web pages.( inside head section)
- Then wait for 24-42 hours. You will get information about your website. Just go through the tabs on left side for details.
T know from which location are you getting visits. Click on Audience->Geo->Location
Also log in to webmaster account and add your website for number of back links and search queries.

It will give you everything you want, but has a yearly fee. I have been using it for 2 years and it is great.

  There's also a free trial version if you'd just like to try it out for a while. I believe the tracking limit on the free version is 3,000 visitors per day, but don't quote me on that.

Though you can see from which website visitors are coming from but you can never specify the source of a particular visitor who visited your website.

first when you post your site through smo site use url builder and with help of Google analytic you will see traffic coming from sites.

Select Channels

In Channels tab, you can see in detail, from where a visitor came to your site and to which page.
