Sudden Website Traffic Drops on 28 Sept? Weird?

Hello Warriors,

Today I was just checking with analytics of one of my website.
It was having 350+ daily visits but on 28th it was 0?
I mean literally there is no traffic as per analytics. how could be this possible?
one of my colleague visited website yesterday so that should atleast count but there is 0 on that particular date.

One reason I think might be slow server but I dont understand why 0 traffic.
Anyone experience similar?

Maybe your web host was down the last time Googlebot visited your site/pages? Are the pages still indexed?

Yeah pages are indexed and working today as well. As I can see in realtime analytics.
And yes hosting could be reason but as colleague was visited yesterday on website that should atleast count in analytics.

Its probably a technical glitch from Google Side. I had also faced same problem with analytics few months ago. But later they rectify it. Hope that same thing also happen with you.

Hosting might be one of the main reason for that.

  May be GA code not working properly. Check your GA code please. It may be removed by mistaken. It happened same with me. or It may be server problem. other wise you are right at your place. do not worry

It would be possible that there are google update. my some friend told me that google updated panda 4.1 algorithms on 25 September.

If it is a really slow server and Google Analytics loads in the footer, that could be the problem. I have seen it happen before. A page takes 10 seconds to load, and the visitor has either clicked on to another page or left the site entirely before Google Analytics ever had a chance to load.

It's one good reason to always put Google Analytics in the beginning of the code rather than the end. Well, it's also one good reason not to use slow web hosts.
