I think I have Been Google Slapped

Hello fellow warriors I have been working on this now for almost a month and can't seem to figure it out. When I switched my permalinks over to a more seo friendly permalink I lost all of my search engine traffic which is to be expected with a massive change as this. At the time of the change I was getting around 100-300 search engine visitors a day spread out through about 500 pages at the time. My links now are as follows http://www.massivemarketers.com/blog/feed where before my links looked like this SEO Search Engine Optimization Building Your Online Business MassiveMarketers or something like that any how.

When I did this permalink change I knew it would be a huge hit to my traffic I just did not know how long. I was able to get some of my top pages relisted with in google the same day of the change by simply pinging the heck out of each post. Making sure not to ping the site itself more then 3 total times that hour to make sure I wouldnt be black listed.

Also before I was basically targeting anyone and every one sticking with only hot trends to post about on my blog. I since then after doing some more learning here and on other forums. I thought it would be better to stick with my main categories which are as follows: bussiness news, curadedt/debt relief or settlement, economy, people and places, seo, sports, and an uncategorized section for rampblings and what not.

I also then rebuilt the site to be more apealing. Which really has nothing to do with search engines at all. I post just about every single day to this blog. I am now well over 1000 pages for this blog alone. I do know atleast half of my pages are indexed with google. But the only search engine traffic that is showing up on my analytics is when I do searches with a keyword site:massivemarketers.com This is to give me an idea of if I am showing up anywhere for the keyword on the search engines. I do know I am showing up for the key words I am targeting by dong this.

What I do not understand is that if I did not modify any of the post at all and went through pinging them. To get them relisted which did just that how did I lose my rank for certain keywords. For instance one keyword I was holding the number 2 spot for was daily niche. Now when I do a search with this keyword I can not find my post on the first ten pages but i do know I am still hitting this keyword for that post doing the keyword site:url search. Since this blog is mainly an adsense blog with out the search engine traffic like I was having before. I am losing money drasticly every single day. When I was getting atleast 3 ad clicks aday out of the 100-300 search engine visitors aday. What should I do and thanks everyone for your help on this matter.

I would also like to point out I did just do a quick keyword density check to make sure I was not over populating the keywords through out the post. Which from what I see I am almost perfect with how many times the keywords show up on the main pages. I am only sitting at about 1.4% for the top keywords on the page.

I redid a blog about 3 months ago.
Actually, turned a site into a blog. After 2 years, this
sites was still PR0. I did a little research on blogs, and
found out that making massive posts is not good unless
it is unique content on the actual topic of the blog.
The blog now is a PR3. Each post is unique, but still
on topic of the blog. If you have 1,000 posts, what are
they on? Are they all over the map? Or is there a consistent
theme? I also discovered, that if you keep doing posts on
the same thing, and have the same tags, it may be looked
upon as sort of spamming your blog with posts. Then, your
blog is in danger of being slapped. As far as my blog I mentioned
above, the title and keywords are the same, as I use the same
header, obviously. To give more info, the blog is a baby and
new mother blog. Each post is related to baby care and new
mothers. But, each post is on an entirely different topic, but
      from a baby/mother slant. I make about 1 post a week.
Unless you have a massive following, I can't see a reason for
making a post a day. A lot of stuff gets indexed by google.
Not everything is found via a search.

If you are going to do hot trends, you may need to narrow them
down to one category. That is, hot business trend, hot
music trends, etc. Doing anything and everything and tossing
in misc. ramblings may not be doing you very well.

You site looks pretty good. PR is holding at 1.

Although I did keyword analysis using this keyword density analyzer and asked for the count on the keywords using plain list, it gave me some mixed keyword, like "jackson" "business" "yahoo" and many more - all at 0.76% You also have "his" as one of the powerful keywords. I am not sure I understand the niche for your blog. I should be able to look at the keywords and know what the blog is about.

thanks I know whats going on now I just checked my tags and half of them are bllank on my blog. Looks like I will be working my arse off for the next couple of days making sure to add in the right tags. Instead of letting the post determain the tags that will be used. Its gonna take alot of work but its nothing Im not used to. Since i do run 3 blogs 2 websites and one forum. This one was my first site and learned alot along the way. That is why I have it set up in categories. You get different results if you go to seo then you would for people and places this is why yo see jackson and his as powerwords that is the main indext to the blog which places each post made there up to ten then after ten you can only find them per category. In the categories i believe depending on the length of the post you will see 20 post per page.

Normally the hot trends I will only make a post on is in the people and places cat and the business news. All of my post do tend to ver off like i stated i post in about 6 categories here so I do not get to each catagory every day. The one I do try to post in every day would be the business news and maybe people and places. This is because of how much changes in one day on these topic. My post on that are about stocks and the recession. while others are simply about publicly traded compaies like walmart and gm. One of the hot trends that got me alot of good traffic was the walmart banana spider. I was on page one spot 3 for this and when they had that issue I was geting over 60 visits a day just from that.
