I don't personally use Camtasia, but I'd try doing Advanced Export-> and choose h.264 if you have that option. If not use handbrake as pointed out by Chad.

Unless you're editing in Windows Movie Maker, WMV is not the best format to edit in. It's more of a delivery format.

If you're bringing it into Ulead, try using AVI or MOV.
