How do you create an event for Fan pages to msg users?

I was told you could create an event for your fan page, and then can send a message to all your fans that ends up in inbox... anyone know how to do this?? any other way to send a message to the inbox...

How long of wait before facebook approves ad?

^yeah.. but trying to maximize deliverability... so aweber is great... constantcontact i've heard is not so great... plus if its a huge list, isn't there issues if we get reported as spam then it...

I run a brick and mortar business.. and even with batch imports of emails.. i bet 65% do not opt in.... yet the actual conversion from people who sign up directly on my website is waaay better.....
