Re: Want To Know Who's Opening Your Emails?

I've used it in the past ... awesome tool when you can put it to work!

As for them knowing, that you know, that they read it (god that sounds awkward when typed out, lol) I don't believe that it...

Re: Bad location and how to overcome it?

savidge4 speaks the truth here. I know you weren't there when they picked the location, but the adage always holds true (I won't bore you with it, I'm sure you know it already, here's a math equation...

Re: Creating a WSO for Mobile Marketing- Should a Newbie do this?

That's my WSO and I'm not sure where you get the idea that a low post count mean's I'm a "noobie".

I've been a keynote speaker in every large city on the east cost, own a full sized marketing...

Re: What About the "Do Not Call" List?

Actually, she's in the wrong. Straight from the gov: Q&A: The National Do Not Call Registry (http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt107.shtm)

Re: I need some assistance here - You'll be glad you looked!

Awesome review, and I genuinely thank you! I'm going to add more direction to the course guide, and since you mentioned it - perhaps a second video.

I'm also going to add a list of "Resources"...

Re: What's in a name?

Hey!

Obviously, I'm just throwing out the first ideas that come to mind, without much market research in your area - so make sure you do that!

But I'd try something like Chika138, Chief Editor...

Re: What's in a name?

Hey Kathy - you don't need the domain!

I'm talking about what you call yourself - leave your business name alone (since it's taken) and focus on what you CAN change!

You're Kathy, a Strategic...

What's in a name?

I'm sitting in a cigar lounge right now, enjoying a Kristoff Maduro, and I just finished up some work I had to get done, and I figured I'd make a post here.

One of the very first lessons I teach...

Re: Mobile Website Design big business in our local market!

The 9700 uses RIM's own browser, but the newer ones (Torch, etc) use a webkit browser, like the browser on the iphone and android.

The 9700 received a ton of criticism for it's awful browser.

EDIT:
Thanks to all of the people who volunteered, I have the people I need! They're all in mobile marketing already, and should prove to be great critics of the toolkit. I'll leave this thread open...

Re: Congrats to the unscrupulous SEO offliners, you're starting kill the business for everyone!

Good read. I've been in the business consulting game for a long time now, here in New York, and the very first lesson I teach to my students is the fact that "SEO" is a deadly term, and being an...

Re: Do You Offer Freebies To Find New Clients?

Wrong!

Do you know how many people will flock to "FREE", with the sole intent of getting something for free? They don't in to (and won't) spend any money with you, and it'll cost you time and...

Re: Another Web Designer Stole My Design...What Can I Do?

Honestly, it's the best case scenario. Cut your losses.

Did you have a contract? If there was any stipulation in there about exclusivity (won't ditch you, etc), then you could mail him an...

Re: Mobile Website Design big business in our local market!

Good call Jay!

Never use tables in your mobile designs, and try real hard to avoid them in your "desktop" designs too - they're outdated and a PITA to use!

Re: Direct Mail (Handwritten) Recommendations?

Not a service, but I have one of my employees do it. I'm not sure how many you're planning on mailing, but I have him do about 50-100 a week, with stellar results.

I give him $.50 per envelope,...

Re: Is There a Way To Set an "Affiliate Program" to Get Referrals for Mobile Marketing?

Re: Mobile Ready Websites big business in our local market!

Selling mobile websites is EASY if you know what to say and how to say it.

I've had great success with both cold calling, and direct mailing. Conversions were better with direct mail. I can't...

Re: Where can I find content to fill my empty classifieds and business directory sections on my webs

Another awesome way would be to contact non-profits (libraries, clubs, schools, etc) and offer them free inclusion (assuming it's a paid directory).

If it's not paid, just start cold calling. If...

Re: Is the Recession affecting your online earning efforts?

I agree with most here. The recession, if anything, has helped business.

I have actually done incredibly well in the last two years, by more than doubling my bottom line.
