i think u can change the site as u need. anyway the position is the serp will fall but i think not for a long time as u start your own compaint to promote it and change the way it makes money.

i think it is temporary. i had such an issue recently with one of my sites. do seo as you were doing it and wait till it comes up. it took me 2 weeks to be back.
