I would test affiliate offers since you'll probably get a better pay out right away. Once you figure what is converting I would just create your own product and keep 100% of it. Trial offers work...

Yes creating your own product is definitely the way to go, since you will be more respected. Nothing wrong with adsense, but it definitely takes awhile to build up if you don't have traffic right...
