How would we find out what has caused the drop? Everything is as it was other than an increase in 404s and seo software (not search console) are showing lots of 403s. thanks (maybe a question to ask...

Hi,

A recent update to a site has led to a 30% drop in traffic on this time last year. An SEO has told us that this is normal and temporary - is he right?

We have a site that, when run through Screaming frog and integrity (broken link tool mac), is showing a lot of 403 forbidden codes.

Are these a problem for SEO purposes and could they affect...
