I have run two small time campaigns for non-profits. I did cold emailing and got a few sponsorships for each. Beyond that, I have no other sales experience.

I struggled with that same thing for a long time. The problem with freelancing sites is that they are usually a race to the bottom.

You might be able to make a quick buck (but usually not)... but...

The only problem is that I vastly underestimated the time it would take me to do a good job... I put in around 20 hours or so which amounted to much less than a minimum wage job... but I learned far...
