Some people like to try a bit of PPC to see if the product converts first.
Then after they establish it does they do all the other stuff. Submit articles, SEO etc.

The best purchase for me wasn't even a purchase. Rich Schefrens Manifesto, final chapter, and missing chapter was absolute gold. He completely flipped my way of thinking (in a positive way).
