If your site is a Wordpress site you can still host your blog at your site which is helpful.

Just set up a new category in Wordpress for your new blog and post your last blog with Blogger...

I have had my site since middle November 2009 so I am still a newbie. Since then my hits have risen from an average of 99 per day to 6000 plus per day and Google has found 35 backlinks...
