Shopify requires the least technical experience of all solutions. Of course you have to be willing to learn SOMETHING but it should be easy.

I call bullshit on the "ugly performs better". I used to work with a big company in personal growth space selling their shady products (meditation, astral projection etc.). Their LPs used to be crap...

There are many reasons - but mainly it's just a lot faster and simpler. Yes, as you add sites it becomes a growing expense - but then again if you can't recoup 30 or 80 bucks from an ecommerce store...
