Many of the slideshows are made in Flash. WP Plugin would integrate more easily but if that doesn't work for you, Google "Flash slideshow code" and you can find something to insert into the WP code.

As a developer, I'm not a MS fan. Some products I suuport are designed for IE only. Recently worked with jQuery and it's a pain getting plugins to work seamlessly on IE6, IE7 and IE 8.
